Ice Monster with YN

Tried Ice Monster with YN last Sunday after our project meeting.

This is my Red beans + yam milk ice. Imagine my excitement when i see this on the menu! I love red beans and yam, and this dessert certainly didn’t disappoint with red beans of just the right sweet ness and mashy yam to compliment it, not forgetting the milky ice. For $3.50, I feel that it is worth it as they use really quality ingredients.

YN got the Mango Sherbet with really sweet and juicy mango bits. It tastes wholely of mango and no artificial flavourings! $4.50 for fresh mangos. :)

Do give it a try for a refreshing treat!

Wandering around town: Cedele

Last Sunday, I was wandering around town before my project meeting..

Planned to have lunch at Cedele as I was early~

Being curious about how a vegetarian burger tastes like, I order the Totally Veggie Grilled Tofu Burger on walnut bread.

The order came really quick and this time, the bread wasn’t that well toasted. Though it still retained it’s crispy crust, the inside was too chewy for my liking, and there wasn’t as much walnuts as I’ve expected.

I feel that this is a rip off for $7. Unlike Wenxiu’s purchase last year, there wasn’t any mustard in mine and I could not taste the nuts in the patty either. :/ The whole thing just tastes wrong with the weird tasting patty and bursts of tangy sour juice from the tomatoes.

I guess it’s not the sandwich for me. :p
