Tong Shui Cafe

Even though bbb spent months of attachment near Zion Road..

Even though i kept reminding him that there’s delicious thicktoast nearby..

Even though i spent months looking him up after work near Zion Road..

We have never visited Tong Shui Cafe!

————–

Recently, I finally had a chance to drag him there after wanting to try the toast for a long time. We were at the Bugis branch..

The deco looked cosy and really funky~ makes people anticipate the food and spices up the atmosphere. (:

His noodles with luncheon meat and sunny side up! Pretty much a safe choice i guess. Need to be more adventurous la! Hee..

My Pb and Condensed milk thick toast~ Had originally wanted the baked beans one, but but but after seeing oozing pb from so many foodies’ blogs, i just had to see it for myself!

What do you think? :p

I guess i set my standards a little too high though.. it didnt reach my expectations.. It way way too dry!

MY dream thick toast is one with crispy caramalised exterior with gooey, moist pb and really really soft cottony bread within that can soak up the pb. (: MUST be warm!

Apparently there was some research done on the perfect PBJ (peanut butter + jam) sandwich and the perfect or bread:pb:j:bread = 1:0.6:0.3:1
Not sure how accurate that is though.

    FoddieGymmie: wahahaha PB+honey me likes!

D: mm but i thought taste is subjective! 0.6 pb.. means the pb is 60% the size of one slice of bread? thats alot!! hehe anyway nice to hear from you again~! :)
