Do you feel that sometimes when you’re doing something, it only feels fun afterward when you look back at it, but not that fun when you’re actually doing it?

Past week was spent working at night, late suppers, runing and swimming.

Thanks baby dear dear for sending me home everytime even though you live so far away and have to endure the boring ride. Sometimes thinking of you reaching home so late and piggy you not getting enough sleep makes me feel bad. Not forgetting that you have to go off the moment you reach my doorstep to catch the last train, thus we don’t have time to sit down and chat like last year.. D:

Plain porridge is my newest addiction! Especially those cooked with sweet potatoes..

Sometimes simple things taste the best. (: So pure and mashy mushy.

I love chilled beancurd! I like firm ones! Am I weird?

Bubur Terigu! Love the chewy texture of the wheat and corn, but I agree that it doesn’t look too appealing. :p It’s too sweet for me~

Weekend! IKEA!

Eating at IKEA is different and fun. Their food looks so.. cute and toyish! Hee.

I love poached salmon! Brocolli and potatoes were yummy as well and overall feels like a balanced meal.. :p

Wingsssss! Very fragrant and shiok. Chicken skin like this is so much better than those cold jellyish ones. :S

BORING fish and chips!!! Friday’s special.

Hee I had Cedele’s Iced Almond Semolina cake alllllll to myself. It was such a big slice.. but it’s good! Lots of crunchy almond bits in the cream cheese frosting and in the cake as well. (: Crumbly cake.. me likes! But i still prefer carrot cake to this! But they’re both good! It’s worth trying, it’s a nutty cake~

How can weekend be complete without spastic and brainless activites.. Hee.. thanks for entertaining me with your badminton skills and picking shuttlecocks for me even though I’m sure that I’m boring you to death. :p

Day of homecooked food, stupid taiwan variety shows, running and badmintoning and crazy chats.

too much sweets lately!!!

 

yesterday I had hazelnut icecream on waffle, strawberry ice cream and fruity oatmeal..

today i had japanese cheesecake, some choco steamed cake, strawberry choco granola yoghurt and a choco walnut scone.

 

i need some anti-CAVITIES rinse!!! 

Pardon me for my obssession with cavities ever since my last dental visit.

 

Aside from that had a wonderful dinner @ Miss Clarity Cafe yesterday with the boy and also checked out the staff canteen at the airport for lunch. (:

Tong Shui Cafe

Even though bbb spent months of attachment near Zion Road..

Even though i kept reminding him that there’s delicious thicktoast nearby..

Even though i spent months looking him up after work near Zion Road..

We have never visited Tong Shui Cafe!

Recently, I finally had a chance to drag him there after wanting to try the toast for a long time. We were at the Bugis branch..

The deco looked cosy and really funky~ makes people anticipate the food and spices up the atmosphere. (:

His noodles with luncheon meat and sunny side up! Pretty much a safe choice i guess. Need to be more adventurous la! Hee..

My Pb and Condensed milk thick toast~ Had originally wanted the baked beans one, but but but after seeing oozing pb from so many foodies’ blogs, i just had to see it for myself!

What do you think? :p

I guess i set my standards a little too high though.. it didnt reach my expectations.. It way way too dry!

MY dream thick toast is one with crispy caramalised exterior with gooey, moist pb and really really soft cottony bread within that can soak up the pb. (: MUST be warm!

On Thursday night, i had my first cedele sandwich!

Finally!!! It’s smoked salmon on wholemeal sunflower bread. This is really worth the wait~ I’ve never eaten bread so well toasted before(unless it’s toasted by me whahhaa~) I love the yoghurt dressing they put in, it’s refreshing and yumyum~

Friday is well spent - CCN day playing with fishes with the APEL mates~

Had supper at Bedok Food Corner.. yummy carrot cake and satay!

Saturday is crazy.

We had the usual breakfast at morning market,
played UNO, old maid, went mad and started talking gibberish,
camwhoring for no reason,
viwawa-ed while baking muffins,
ran for miles,
ate dinner and slacked like mad.

The first batch of muffins were burnt with hard cookie like tops all because of viwawa.. :/ Compare it with the second batch!

I went out with my favourite skirt.

and he bought 500g of Famous Amos cookies – Macadamia, Oatmeal Raisin, Chocolate chip and pecans.

We ate them at our favourite spot.
