DSC_0054

i really like this photo which i snapped. quite an accidental and candid shot..

Untitled-1

1-7: the state our studio was in most of the times during the past week.

8: the day where we attempted silhouette lighting and stayed from morning till night.

9: packet lunch outside the studio..

10: our group’s bear bear.

11: a very shagged gwen.

aside from the blinding lights and moving heavy things and adjusting stuff, there was alot of entertainment too.. feels like camp.

aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

palette

my palette looks like sunset after this.

and yes i’m finally working on this again!

———-

are all humans ironic? or is it just me?

finally a break amist of deadlines and printing and whatsnot. as yapning said, when one gets so busy, there’s no time to drink water and all our pees’ the wrong color. wahahaha.

during this break i plan to have some peace to myself and generally be stress-free. though i long for interaction sometimes, going out does require some mental preparation on my part. i realised that i fear having nothing to say and awkward silences, especially when it’s a 1-to-1 moment. i tend to be quiet in groups, and i often listen to others, wondering why i don’t have much to say like them. but i don’t want to be anti-social leh. ):

24 April, 2008

The work is piling in!

Baby and me dragged ourselves away from the temptations of fried fast food to IMM’s kopitiam only to end up having…….

Fried scallops and omelette bento.

and Omurice with fried fish.

Haha!

EVOLUTION ‘08

21 April, 2008

Back from orientation camp!

Almu is my group with really patient and friendly leaders. (: Up above is our handmade flag inspired by a windmill..

Had lots of activities with the more memorable ones bring the really awesome night walk at 2.30am in the morning and the human version of arcade football.

We had packed food for 2 meals and for the rest, I tried out food from all the various canteens.. affordable but nothing splendid… yet. Design school’s malay food, western and teh bing (made by uncle) are raved by many though. (:

I have to say that what made the camp most fruitful were the people. Every single person in my group has their distinct style and are really interesting and fun to be with.

SHIJIE THE NIGHT CYCLIST!!!!!!!!!!

Danicia the really friendly girl.

SM the da bian who calls me tofu.

Lorraine the easily amused girl with highlighted extensions.

Jing guo the guy who shrugs and not talk.

Sufiyan the yo-yo guy~

Jessie the fashion designer with curls.

Joyce the drama queen!

Leon the guy who knows how to look good.

Thomas the tall, tanned one.

Yan Jun the business style.

Damien the good speaker.

Terrance the Jay Chou (haha!).

Arun the tanned girl who knows alot about hair.

Xiang Yu the pretty girl.

Sheena the one with thick long and neat fringe who likes to wear black.

Not forgetting our lovely GLs – Gary, Kaysee, LL and PY.

I missed out some because they were absent and i don’t know how to spell their names..

I’m really glad to know all of you. (:

School

26 March, 2008

Went back to school today to collect my certificate.

Nothing much changed, and it seems like yesterday that i was walking along the linkway, climbing the stairs that are all over the school, painting in the art room, queuing up to buy cai fan, dreading cca..

Strangly, the only thing i really miss is the art room and the times spent there after school, which i hated so much during those days.

Memories

5 December, 2007

I spent the day tidying my room.

In every corner of the room,
every cupboard,
every box,
every case,
every book,
every letter,
every drawer,
there lies memories.

Hundreds of penpal letters, notes, messages, gifts.
My barbies, pollypocket, jigsaw puzzles, stuffed toys, many many drawings, diaries, old journals, autograph books..

Miss those childish days where you say anything and everything we wanted to anytime, anywhere.. hehe..

I remember most special moments spent with each ones of them in 6A’03, if wonder if they remember me?

This is how much i love them:

Hehee.. i would look forward to creating new and more wonderful memories..

Scrambled

14 November, 2007

breaky.jpg

Whee~ another one of my breakfasts at unearthy hours~
It was made on Monday morning.. when i just started to study for Physics about 8 hours before the paper starts.

egg.jpg
So i woke up at 5+am and fried this thing that looked like vomit. :D
It’s eggs + milk + cheese.. all scrambled. :D

Wow, calcium packed!

——-

Life is so weird now without studying..
I must find something to do soon!!

I keep feeling so guilty for being online until i remind myself that O’s over.
Hmm.. after studying for 4 years and this sudden freedom comes.. i guess I’m afraid that I’ll forget everything and become stupid.
But sooner or later.. that’ll happen la.. just a matter of time. :X

Back to crayons and pencils!

O’levels are officially over~

13 November, 2007

I’m going to miss the huge aircon hall,
taking exams with the whole sec 4 cohort,
seeing all those colourful jackets,
the suspense of guessing what topics’ coming out for essay questions,
waking up at 6am to make breakfast,
being paranoid and rushing through the paper, realising that i finished 30mins early,
hearing the examiner say ‘good morning candidates, you are reminded not to have any electronic devices………’ every morning,
hearing the examiner say ‘pens down’,
searching through piles of question papers to find one with your own name,
personalised answer sheets with rectangles instead of ovals,
signing on answer sheets,
going online everyday after papers,
being amazed to find that the physics paper 2 thread at stomp spawned 20 pages when the paper only ended 2 hours ago,
taking the same paper as the whole nation,
metal pencil case,
taking exams with my pink IC staring at me,
big clean prints on the papers,
lines with huge spacings,
tying strings,
staring at trees before papers..

-

The most memorable paper was definitely art.
The friends there are the ones I’ll miss most.. (and dearest Mdm Zee!)
It was really enjoyable being in the same art class.. seeing everyone’s styles and the characters in their paintings..
I will never forget the day when we took the bus down to hand in our huge canvases.. hehe.

-
Aren’t our coursework boards and canvas suppose to come back by now?

I wanna dye my hair and get coloured contacts! lol. makeover~
