last weekend..

me and b finally managed to eat at timbre! (totally regretted not bringing my dslr though.)

thin crust pizza, roasted duck with special sauce & cheese with crispy popiah skin + german herbed sausages with cheese

and

buffalo wings~

dessert for me and snack for him because we were greedy and it was half price at cafecartel because it’s after 9pm. all those for $6+. -. -

it was amazing with the cool breeze, nice music and glorious food!

it was a three-course dinner that left us with puking vibes afterwards. :p

it used to be a favourite.. the lovely, light, wholesome taste of macha with milky undertones…

then, the price was raised, the portion shrank, and it tasted abit sweeter…

but, it was still good…

then… i suddenly tasted a tinge of durian polluting my macha goodness….

how disappointing…

so the term is almost coming to an end.. it has been a stressful week even though lessons are little… I think I’m getting rusty and old…

as usual school days are littered with little bits of good eats here and there..

i originally planned to have a day out taking photos but the rain ruined my plan and brought me and b to ishimura, a japanese themed foodcourt that we discovered accidentally.(in a good way)

the place was really nice! the decoration reminds me of shokudo, and it actually looked like a restaurant, even the food presentation was good and tasted quite decent, the prices are reasonable too from 3.90$ to around 7$? shall come back to try their ramens and pizzas and more okonomiyakis!

my lovely mr.banana i got from the toy convention! i nearly left him in the foodcourt.. luckily a cleaner picked it up for me..

i love love love soba noodles especially cold cha soba/zaru soba. so simple yet sooooo goodddd! especially with cold tofu. with some seaweed strips on top.. hmm~

mum and me made lunch for me today, soba noodles with egg, mushroom, broccoli and crabstick. though the soba was undercooked due to lack of experience, it was still good but it’s homecooked. :D

anyway, the photos are the very first ones i’ve taken with the 2nd hand canon d400 that i just bought! still trying to get the hang of it..

cake party~

I had a really wonderful 18th birthday!

It was celebrated with my family with cakes from Patisserie Glace which I managed to order despite it being a last minute decision one day before the day itself.

I had 7 other sliced cakes/tarts from there too as my cake seemed too small for the family. :p

This cake is called Strawberry Hill, it has lots of layers thus provides very yummy texture contrast~ Doesn’t it look so pretty?

That yellow tart is DAMM GOOD! It’s like egg custard on top with pear in the middle.. It’s called La France.

My angelic bunch of friends in school bought this delicious matcha cake with azuki beans for me and we devoured it on the spot. (: Heartwarming.

I also had Cedele’s carrot cake with B!

Thank you my angelic friends and family for the well wishes, treats, gifts and basically just being part of my life.

I may not list all your names down here or send out thank you cards or give anything in return but deep down it is really, truly appreciated..
